No Media_sym!!??

    hi, i just jailbroke into my ipod 1.1.2, and when i tried to ssh into it, i got these files, .svn, library, media, .DS_Store file, root.zip

    now i cannot access my applications or anything. please help!

    You don't need media_sym, it was simply a shortcut.

    ya, but how can i get to the apps files, and everything else that was in it??

    Go up in the directory by clicking the "..." and everything that was in the media_sym will be there.

    if you are using Cute FTP than just keep clicking back until you reach the main menu. Thats what i did

    Media_sym is basically just a shortcut to the root directory of your iPoT, if I'm not mistaken. Try hitting the back/up button in your SFTP client a few times, or look for the ".." button in the directory listing.

    i did that too...i used cute ftp...i just keep pressing back and went to the directory

    /Applications

    which i added my apps and sh*t
