So, Maybe this should have been on the front page a long time ago, but ah well.

I know that most users have already successfully jailbroken without Icy. You should not select Icy to download because it will not work. It is an easy error to fix unless you have a lot of data on your apple device. You will have to restore to fix it. A new redsn0w patch will be released to fix that soon.

The point: Don't install Icy Yet!

I thought they stopped supporting Icy?
Sucks....because it is way better then Cydia or installer.

When I installed Cydia along with Icy, an error alert was displayed in Cydia saying that Cydia did not know what version of itself it was running. Installing Icy along with Cydia while jailbreaking is the cause of this. So basically, Icy works fine, but messes up Cydia. You have to restore to fix this, which is frustrating. I wish I had known this a long time ago...

Icy's trash. Pretty much anything that comes out of RipDev is trash.

That's what I meant. I was trying to tell people so that they do know before they have to restore.
