So I installed the 4.1 GM on my iPhone 3Gs and noticed that the HDR Feature isnt avaliable. Is this new HDR Feature only possible on the iPhone 4?

I emailed Steve, no reply yet. Bit of a FML moment as the camera on the 3GS and in fact its hardware are both capable of HDR (I think) - leave it to the jailbreakers, it will come

No HDR on the iPod touch, either. Though I think that's more of a hardware thing.

I'm sure comex or the Dev-Team will change that. Is the 3G camera even capable of HDR?

When you say "Not on the Touch" I have to correct. It will be on the iPod Touch 4.

The 3GS should be able to do it.

HDR apps only work with the 3GS and iPhone 4.
I thinks it's because the cameras can focus on different areas.

So we SHOULD get it, but you never know.
I'm sure we'll be able to port it over if Apple gives us 3GS users the cold shoulder.

It may be a hardware thing, but the way he showed it at the event made it seem like more of a software feature.
