Starting yesterday, I have had no GPS signal. I am in Canada and sometimes it shows me in London, UK, other times just no signal at all. Tried resetting network settings and deleting /var/root/Library/Caches/locationd but still doesn't work. Turning off 3G gives me GPS signal that's accurate to like 80 km radius, but I don't want to keep 3G off.

Update: I downloaded MotionX GPS Free and it can get GPS. Then, maps start working. Finally, whenever Maps lose GPS I run MotionX, it finds GPS, and maps work. Now I think Maps work but it's GPS only, i.e. no cell tower or WIFI assist. How can I get cell/wifi assist back?

If he restores, it would have to be a fresh restore. If he restores to a back up, the prob most likely will still be there.
