    Hi everyone!

A week ago my iPod Touch 2G worked fine, untill I was going to charge the battery by plugging it into my PC, (this worked great the other day), but I get an error message telling me an unknown unit is connected to the computer. When starting iTunes I can't see my iPod connected.. So I tried other computers, Macs, PCs etc. It didn't work with other computers either.

    So my problem is:
    • I can't charge my iPod.
    • I can't start my iPod.
    • I can't restore my iPod (iTunes doesn't recognize it.)

I'm greatful for any help I can get!

    (sorry for my bad English)

PS. I've jailbroken my ipt2g but I never downloaded any wierd apps, only things like winterboard etc.

Charge your ipod touch from a differnt USB port, like a PS3, Xbox 360, etc....

Then check if you can sync

Doesn't work because I've already tried connecting it to many computers, (maybe 6 different ones.)

    Thanks anyway : )

I tried to charge it with my Playstation but same thing happened there, the screen lights up, I see the Apple logo then a picture shows up with a USB cable and an iTunes logo, meaning something like "Connect to iTunes".

    Thanks anyway! : )

On this computer I've got Windows Vista. The other computers I tried had Windows XP and Mac OSX - Tiger.
