Bought an ipod touch 2G last November and came with software version 3 and when I went to itunes it installed 3.1 and now has installed 3.3 . Bought a Plantronics 360 explorer last week and I cant pair it , Ipod shows Bluetooth option and says now discoverable but all I get is the spinning wheel but never finds headset . The Headset is fully charged and flashing red/blue as it should so im totally lost as to why it wont pair . Any thoughts would be appreciated .

    For starters, jailbreak your iPod.

Plantronics 360 explorer is a hands-free, not a (stereo) headset. You can only use stereo headsets with the ipod touch.

Also don't listen to people telling you to get iBlueNova. It won't help you out here.

The iPod's bluetooth connection to headphones only works with a2dp stereo bluetooth. Non-stereo isn't supported, and I am pretty sure iBluenova won't help you.

Your bluetooth would be the make and recieve calls only. its a way bluetooth manufacturers can charge you for two products instead of one. Great rackett they have
