I thin this has something to do with PocketTouch. My iPoT ran out of battery whilst running the app, and now when I have recharged it I have no backlight, even when I have set it to full. I have restarted 3 times and reopened and closed the app - nothing makes the backlight come on !!!

turn it fully off (hold power and slide, not standby) for about 20 mins. same thing happened to me but it's not a big problem

if not then you can search for the stobe app and install that then open it up and see if it comes on again

i dont think uninstalling it will do anything (at least for me it didn't) best bet is to just let it sit and try to find something else to mess with for a little while
