Whenever I SSH into my iPod and drag AppStore.app into my Applications folder, then reboot my iPod, it doesn't show up. I found the AppStore file in Developer > Platforms > Aspen.Platform > Developer > SDKs > Aspen1.2.SDK > Applications.

I recently uploaded iCopter through SSH, so is it just the App Store that wont work? I don't even see an icon.

Can you add it to your iPod through SSH?

Its not meant for an ARM processor like the iPod Touch and iPhone have. Its meant for Intel processor on a Mac in the simulator.

    No, it's in the SDK.

But how do I add the AppStore app to my iPod or the Aspen Simulator iPhone?

So what do I do with those files? And does it upgrade my iPod to 2.0 so it won't be jailbroken?

you cant install the SDK apps on your ipod. if you didnt notice, the only file inside of a AppStore.app is appstore. no info.plist, nothing else. the appstore file IS formatted for the iphone, but theres nothing to go along with it to tell the iphone/ipod touch what to run, or an icon to put on your springboard or anything. its an application with nothing to go along with it. its like my uploading a game, with nothing but the .exe file. its not going to get you very far
