I see people still think there's a 5 GB cap on AT&T. Well I tested this myself and I've used 5734.3 MB's in the past few days, and I haven't received any messages telling me to stop and my speed has not been throttled

I'm going to use as much as I can to test the limit

If people would take the time to actually read their iPhone contracts, they'd see that there is no cap (on AT&T in the U.S., at least). The terms never specify any kind of limit regarding the $30 iPhone Data.

EDIT: When I say there isn't a cap, I DON'T mean that AT&T will just let you use as much as you want. They don't specify a cap, but if you get in the 6GB and up range, they'll get interested in your activities.

Have you ever read a physical copy of an iPhone contract?

While there is no actual cap, at a certain point, like if you blow 5GB in a few days, AT&T is liable to investigate your activities.

Pssh 5734.3 MBs. I've hit 7500 MBs. It does seem to get slower. Even now (a few months after I hit that number)

How can you check your data usage viz text message? I know there is a something in settings but you must manually reset that each month.

BTW its not capped but they may investigate your usage or throttle back your speed.
