No 3g No Service?? Help please

    hi people bought the iphone 3g today uk, if i turn my 3g off i get no service message, if turn on my serivce is back on is that normal? pls help

    Turning 3G off should be improving your service, that's strange. Try resetting your network settings and all see if it makes a difference.

    I've never had this problem, then again I restored to a Pwned FW straight away

    tried resetting my iphone still no service when 3g is off, i knew something was wrong instore they couldnt find service then messed around and got it on probably from turning 3g on

    yea i seen it, i dont want to pwn mine cause keeping to 02 anyway but still i know it should be like this soo gutted

    update i did network reset nope didnt full reset and yes worked fine full signal was there with 3g off tried to make a call signal dropped to no service, so tried turning 3g on service came back on full then took 3g off no service again so did reset didnt work at all tried restore and nothing

    Turning 3G off would not improve service but it should default back to EDGE or GPRS.

    Assuming you have service other than 3G in your area I would think something is not right with the phone and I would take it back for warranty (assuming that is an option).

    took the iphone back they said it was fault with phone and replaced since 24 hours old
