I seen around on youtube videos on apps to control games right?! And I seen an app that is not in AppStore so I am thinking that someone homebrewed it or got it from Cydia or something. A program called Project64 is an Nintendo 64 emu and I don't have a controller and I suck on my keyboard. Is there an app that is an Nintendo 64 gamepad?

If you have a PSP theres an app to use that as a controller. Not seen one for iPod.

I would find the lack of buttons unappealing, but if the PSP can do it, the iPod touch probably can do some degree.

I just don't think theres a big enough need for it to be developed though

emulators are obviously not in itunes appstore because they can be illegal and Apple wouldn't like to be sued for promoting illegal roms.

yeah but you see like remotes and stuff for things like itunes media player/center and quicktime but you also see controllers like a touchpad or steering wheel or keyboard but if you put your ipod into the debug mode or something and you got those jacks and plug in to the ipod then you can plug in the controller and use via infra red (with those infra red jacks) or wifi. And I have those tool but its kinda hard to controll over wifi with the reaction time.
