For my 2G iPod, what equipment would I need to get Nike+ up and running?
i think this is what you need
does it work for 1st gen, i havent looked
,,Transform your iPod nano or iPod touch (2nd generation) into a personal workout coach with the Nike + iPod Sport Kit."
You would think they would make a cheaper version for the Touch G2 sans Nano receiver since it's not needed. Maybe later!...
But then... I'd have a useless dock thing.
Would I need to buy shoes with a hole in the bottom too? :\
from the info I got, you don't need any accessories for the Nike+ it is built in the system.
No, you don't, you can buy an adapter as shown here http://www.amazon.com/Switcheasy-Ru...e=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1221420419&sr=8-4 that clips onto your shoe laces, so you don't have to spend big bucks on the Nike+ shoes. Hope I helped!
Another product which is cheaper is here. http://www.amazon.com/Pouch-Compati...r_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1221420666&sr=8-1
nah, all you need is the sensor...the reciever is built in.
