I'm looking into getting the Nike+ accessory for my new 2nd Gen Touch, but I was wondering, do I need to by the receiver too, as the new Touch has it built in? This is because I have seen just the sensor on the Nike website, for £11.70.

    http://store.nike.com/index.jsp?country=GB&lang_locale=en_GB&sitesrc=EMEAPL#l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-102001/pid-169902/pgid-169903

If you do not need the receiver, how do you sync the sensor and the iPod?

    Thanks for any advice guys!

No, you don't need to buy the receiver, its built in. Once you get your Nike+ Sensor, all you have to do is go to settings on your iPod Touch and go to the Nike+ Settings. From there turn it on and go to sensor to link your sensor to your iPod Touch. After that you can return to the main page with all your apps and the Nike+ App should be there.

    Have fun running
