nike might release an add on for the iphone, but i doubt it. the new ipod touch has a built in nike+ chip, which means all you have to buy is the nike+ chip for your shoes. i mean they could release the add on i mentioned above, but idk how that would work out while running.

    Whats this chip?

I thought the Nike + iPod was you buy the 'special' shoes, and you go for a run, and your shoes measure your SPM (Steps/m) and find an appropriate song for you (via BMP beats/m) and I thought this was all done through wifi or something.

So Nike + iPod wont work until the new iPod is released?

Why not the iPod Touch 1st Gen??

I have the Nike+iPod kit from my ipod nano, why wouldn't the kit work with the 1st gen iPod Touch!! Seems bafflingly unfair!!
