ngmoco:) buys Freeverse: "Are they hoping to become the giant?"

    ngmoco has recently acquired Freeverse, the well-known iPhone game developer that is responsible hit games such as "Skee-Ball" and "Flick Fishing"

    They have also secured $25 million funding with a total of $40.6 million of investments outside the company.

    Neil Young, the CEO of ngmoco has stated that they plan to push the App developing direction of Freeverse to free-to-play, pay-for-more direction.

    Now, while it is a positive thing to see the App Store gaming industry grow, I personally can't look at the stance of ngmoco

    so warmly with pushing the in-app transaction and abandoning the Rolando 3 project.
