It's good to see Nexus devices getting sold more now!
Hopefully, I can get a Nexus 10 for Christmas! It seems pretty promising with those specs!

So you dont have to sign a 2 year contract and you still get that price?

Correct, this is a phone straight from the manufacturer, so you aren't locked into a contract OR stuck to one carrier! But this phone is GSM, so it will only work with networks such as T-Mobile and At&t, not Verizon or Sprint (which are CDMA).
It's a great deal, and an incredible value seeing as its competitors are roughly six hundred dollars off contract.

Why would you want cdma when T-mobile and straight talk (runs off tmobile or att) offer cheap prepaid plans with unlmited data and texting that cost less than HALF of what cdma wants:

tmobile prepaid: $30/mo 100 min + unlmited data and text

    straight talk: $45/mo unlimited everything
