Next Apple TV to run iOS?

    This article (http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/11/upcoming-apple-tv-loses-1080p-playback-gains-apps/) says the next Apple TV will have the same internals as an iPhone 4 and will be getting apps!

    So if thats true it will have to be running some form of iOS.

    I have took great interest in apple tv - and how the newer version is meant to be cheaper, sleeker and built in HDMI. Also it's meant to have more features an iOS and apps (all at a reduced price, to the previous apple tv). It will have competitors such as google tv and the boxee box - all coming out soon!

    But the idea of having the same features and usability of an iPod / iPad on your tv seems amazing - all from your couch!
