I just bought a 2g iPod touch last week. I need some help jailbreaking it. I've never done this before.. And pretty much don't know how to do it. I've read about quickpwn but I'm not sure what steps to take. Is there someone here patient enough to help me???
    Thanks

You can't jailbreak the 2nd gen iPod touch yet.

Ouch, you buy a 2nd gen thinking you could JB it?
Anyway, don't lose hope, there will hopefully be a jailbreak soon

yeah u may want 2 do some research before buying things next time. that my have influenced u into a different decision. and don't worry, when the new jailbreak for the 2g comes out, we'll all b n00bs at it, cause itll b new. some may have a little more prior knowledge before and it may come easier, but in essence we'll b newbies.

i didn't buy the 2g for jailbreaking it only.. i like it enough without needing to jailbreaking it... i could probably live without doing it, but i've heard that jailbreaking give you more options.. so i would like to try it and if i don't like it, i would just restore it and keep it like apple gave it to me.

i have confidence on the dev team to break it soon.. in the meantime i'll do some more research b/c it seems i'm really behind in all kinds of ipod touch info.

    thanks for the help.
