Newbie Guide (written by a newbie) with an EASY, CLEAR way to use NES + 300 ROMS

This is all done on your iPod Touch. No computer required. You must be within a WiFi network.

    1. Jailbreak your iPod (i will not go into detail about this because its everywhere on this site)
    2. Open the 'installer.'
    3. Press the 'install' tab at the bottom.
    4. Go to 'Games' and from there install 'NES.'
    5. Get back to your springboard(main screen) and reopen the 'installer.'
    6. This time use click the 'Sources' tab at the bottom right.
    7. Click 'Edit' at the top right corner of the screen.
    8. Click 'Add' at the top left corner.
    9. Add the following source in the dialogue box:

    markmon.mine.nu:90/iphone/repo/repo.plist
(make sure it is entered correctly! the 'nu' often changes itself to 'by')

    10. Press 'Ok.'
    11. Click 'Done' at the top right corner.
    12. Click the 'install' tab.
    13. Click 'All Packages' and scroll down until you find a package called "Bigboss' NES Roms Pack 1"
    14. Install this package.
    15. Get back to your springboard.
    16. At this point there should be a icon named simply 'NES.'
    17. Click this app and your ready to go.

    Notes:

You can also add your own ROMS using SSH but this is a very simple way to do it without even using a computer. It gives you plenty of ROMS, and most of these were probably the ones you wanted anyway.

Thank you for re-doing a simple tutorial for NES.

I used this method a while ago and I find it the ABSOLUTELY EASIEST way to play NES on the iPod Touch. Any noobs who complain about no easy tutorials for NES will get a link for this thread.

If you go onto Installer from your ipod and under Install, then System, its there called BSD Subsystem.
