The iPod Touches have arrived in Edinburgh, Scotland!! wohoo!!

    Got one here.. freshly jailbreaked...

The new installer/uninstaller app is great!

I take it at the moment there is no automatic way to get the iphone apps on - unless you are on a Mac - correct? I am on windows

Welcome MrPlant! I read your whole post with a Scottish accent!

I don't think there is a way to auto-install the iphone apps, but if you look up how to do it, it really isn't very tough.

    Success!

    Everything working great!

Is there an app on the phone to move the icon order around?

Also.. is there a way to get the calendar app so you can edit an entry?

Other than the two points above, I have everything working 100%, thanks

    to this forum!

    Cheers!

You can use "Customize" to order your applications, but I think that there is still a bug that only allows you to organize the first page and dock icons. For the calender fix, once you download and install "community sources" from installer app, look for "calender fix", download and install.

thanks. I used iOrder in the end - went well... Everything sweet!

Anyone have a direct link to the apple 1.1.1 firmware - just in case the bring out a fixed 1.1.2 - or rather before they do... thanks..

More to the point - itunes has it already since I have restored the ipod twice now. first time it downloaded the 1.1.1 update firmware - second time it just extracted the files it already had... If only I knew where it was storing them.. Had a nose around but coulnd't locate - anyone know??
