Newbi..transferring apps after downloading?

    Hi, I just downloaded 2 game apps to my computer, but I can't get them to the ipod touch and I noticed on my ipod touch there is no icon for apps. I have a 16gb 1st generation.. Any suggestions?

    Plug iPod into iTunes, look in Devices and highlight the ipod. To the right you will see a summary page with tabs for Music, Videos, Applications etc. Go to the Applications tab and check the Applications you want to sync and then sync.


    Or did you download cracked apps?

    There is no applications tab in that window..just music, video, podcast, tv and info..

    When you click on the ipod and see a screen like this (click the image):

    What does it say in the highlighted part?
    If it is not software version 2.x, then you have to upgrade before you can use applications

    yea make sure u have upgraded to the latest firmware (2.2) and then go to the applications tab in itunes, once u have connected ur ipod, and check the apps u want to sync
