iOS 3.1 New way downgradiing 3.1.3 > 3.1.2 MC model 8GB.

    Hello!

    I succesfully downgraded my MC model 8GB.

    Step 1: download the 2G3.1.2 firmware.
    Step 2: Shift + (you know).

    And its downgraded.

    (Works only with Late 2009 8GB MC Model!)

    So remember: download the 2G 3.1.2 firmware not the 3G!

    With the newest iTunes, you need to change the host files, they won't let you change the information in the drivers folder. You have to move the file to your documents, edit it there, then drag it back to the drivers folder. Then that way you can download the iPod Touch 2G 3.1.2 FIRMWARE. Then shift>>click Update / Restore and choose the firmware.
