    No

    iPhone= GSM

    Verizon= CDMA

    Plus, verizon already has sim cards in multiple phones. (ie. storm, naplolean, bb world phone)

    Are we forgetting that Apple hired a CDMA Engineer a little over a year ago (if memory serves) and that there should be an iPhone release along side 3.0 in June and that the AT&T exclusivity contract runs out in June. Lots of things are falling into place if you ask me...

    The iPhone will still be locked down. And if this is going to happen it wont happen any time soon. Apple and AT&T are locked into a five year contract. And AT&T uses GSM networks not CDMA.

    2 year contract that hasn't been renewed. Apple and AT&T can only make x amount of money by staying locked together, the market will fall out if they don't invest in other companies.

    my dad who is a fairly high up manager for Verizon has informed me that congress is suppose to be passing a bill around august making all phones available on any service provider. meaning no more fones exclusively for one company. so iphones on verizon
