Whats up dudes, I jut got my new Macbook last night and its my first mac ever. I have used macs from kindergarten to 8th grade in school but at home, it was always PC; Until recently when I got convinced in buying a mac. I have 2 questions though. For those who have the aluminum Macbook (in my case the 2.4ghz model), do you hear a weird noise when you shut down/boot up your computer over by the DVD drive? Also whats the CTRL+ALT+DEL for the mac, to bring up for example the "task manager"?

If its OK lets make this thread a newbie to mac one.

CPU usage? Umm, you can download a widget called iStats. It measures temperature, CPU usage, RAM usage (I think) etc... of your Mac as well
