    Hi there,

I'm thinking of jailbreaking and i have some questions.

    1. What are the risks of the new jailbreak?

    2. Can I restore from a backup that was made before I jailbreak and remove all jailbreak apps etc.?

    3. What are the essential things to do once I have jailbroken my iPod touch?

    4. Are there any jailbreak apps that activate the radio on the ipod touch 3g?

    Thanks in advance.

No you can't use the radio. It has to be activated by apple through a software update. It would probably need a code we don't know. From what I have heard apple are trying to make it so if you hear a song you can buy it from the iTunes store or something. But they can't get it to work and I don't see how they could.

Like you delete something like settings.app and it's not there or a plist and then it does boot up or springboard.app and springboard is not working and the point is u can if you try. But it can all be fix via a restore I guess

There was a thread here a couple of days ago, someone deleted the settings and the iPod wouldn't restore.

1-There is always a risk when working with system files and using different computers to update the devices.
2-It is possible despite having problems with my os 3.1.2 restore because, I think, Apple in the meantime changed these "utility" (see my last post).
3-Have more freedom from Apples repression
