    Hi,

I keep all my songs under this location
    C:\Songs

    My question is this.
When I add songs to any sub folders under C:\Songs, does iTunes automatically recognize this and will update the library, thus whenever I plug my iPod Touch to the computer, iTunes will sync the new songs to iPod?

Or do I have to drag the newly added songs to the iTunes software?

    I'm using iTunes 8.2.0.23
    Under the preference > advanced,
iTunes Music Folder Location = C:\Songs
Keep iTunes music folder organized = UNcheck
Copy file to iTunes Music folder when adding to library = UNcheck

While the settings of my device (under itunes)
Sync only checked songs & videos = check
Manually manage music & videos = UNcheck
    Music tab
Sync music | All Songs & Playlist = check

    Also wondering this.

Whenever I have new songs, it never adds them to the itunes or ipod library.

I have to delete all the songs and then re-add the main folder or it will just add all the songs again including duplicates.

There must be another way around this.
