Using the screenshot feature, on your homescreen (you must have 2 pages), switch your page but drag your finger and stop in the middle, youll have half of page two and half of page one. If you let go it would slide to a page, but dont let go, keep your finger there and with two other fingers click the home botton and the sleep button at the same time, it will take a screen shot, take your finger off and your homepage will be stuck, to fix it simply slide your finger across the screen

Lol, you can do this on 1.1.4 i forgot how i did it but it stook in the middle of one screen and the other so i got the last 2 rows of apps of the first screen with the first two rows of apps in the next screen, i'm almost positive this isn't 2.0 exclusive.

or, you could swipe it so you have half of each page, then with another finger, press and hold an icon in the dock, release your first finger, then slide the dock finger up to where the regular icons are, then let go.

I'm pretty sure double tapping the home button does the same thing that you're talking about.
