iOS 3.1 New section inside "Top 25" appstore section?

    Anyone else noticed this? It's in 3.1 and 3.0 so they updated that. Seems cool though I have no idea what "Grossing" is :|

    ...Why would they say "Top Grossing" when they could just say "Top Earning" or "Top Selling"?

    Because there is a difference between top grossing and top earning and top selling.

    If TomTom app sold 2 copies and a $0.99 sold 10 copies, TomTom would be lower down the list that the top selling despite having a higher value.

    Top earning would also be different because of different VAT in different countries and various other things (such as wages, apple fees, etc.)

    Top Grossing is the amount of money taken BEFORE any deductions. That is why it is called Top Grossing, because it is a top 25 list of apps by the amount of money that has been taken before anything has been deducted.
