I lost my iPhone 3G (8GB Black) that was under a 2 year contract with AT&T and is about a year and a half in. What price am I going to pay to get an iPhone 4 6 months before my contract expires?

    Thank You!

I totally would but I have an AT&T Premier Account and to be honest that website is pretty much unusable.

Depends if they count it as an early upgrade or not. Mine was $430ish (16GB) after taxes and all with early upgrade. I did this around a year an a month into my previous contract though. If its a regular upgrade, you get the regular upgrade price of $200 or $300.

6 months from upgrade? I'd say walk into an AT&T store, and tell them that the DROID X is really looking good in your eyes. Tell them that you want an iPhone 4 now, or you'll leave for Verizon. They will probably give it to you for the 1 year contract price ($100 more than the fully subsidized price).

Edit: That's what VZW did for me with my DROID Incredible, at least.

Thank you very much. I'll give it a couple days to see if it shows up somewhere, if not I'll go and see about an early upgrade. The only thing I was worried about was that I thought I had seen a change in early upgrade pricing on Engadget a couple days ago, what bad timing that would be!

Don't know if I could pull that off with AT&T seeing as I'm locked into a corporate account.
