Wait, don't get the white macbook yet. You need to understand something, while it is new, you're still buying "old technology." Two years from now, white will be phased out and when people look at your laptop, they'll think "why is he running a 3-5 year old laptop? It's not going to be the next gen. of MacBooks, you're buying last gen's model. Also, the resale value will be worse than if you buy the aluminum one. Lastly, the build quality is better on the aluminum one, my MacBook's casing is cracked in two places and it looks beat up because white fades/gets dark. Think about this before you buy a laptop solely for the purpose of playing one game. PS: The white one is slightly faster in terms of CPU but the GPU in it is God awful. We're talking awful awful. Not to mention, the new one has DDR3 RAM which is future tech and it comes with 2 gigs while the white one has 1 gig. Plus the HDD is better in the aluminum one. Good luck!
my budget is $1000, so i will get the white one, it is all i need for the things im doing, i wont be doing heavy graphics stuff, maybe just edit some files and pictures and internet.
yeah, that is another reason why i want the white so i can use firewire to sync my ipod (way faster than USB, and hook up my firewire camera, so it works out well.
