I sure hope he doesn't waste it on 6.1.3...and I don't think he will. Better to hold it for iOS 7.
Aarix, Tatanko, Zyiros and 1 other person like this.

Can someone explain that tweet for me?
As iOS6.1.3 has just been released not more than a couple of weeks ago, and over the past few months (evasi0n that is made by the evad3rs with the exploits they found) was being used to make a jailbreak for (iOS6.0, 6.1, 6.1.1, 6.1.2) so did I not understood his tweet  or it just doesn't make any sense o_O

That last post doesn't make much sense....I understand where your coming from but who's to say that apple didn't patch the other exploits on 6.1.3?

Only time will tell I suppose

What makes me confused is how can he discover the needed exploits from over the past few months if 6.1.3 has just been released a couple of weeks ago  does that mean that the exploits he found are different than the ones used in the evasi0n jailbreak, and somehow they didn't got patched in the 6.1.3 update? as that is the only way to look at it based on the very limited info. he gave.

Yep, I guess all we can do is wait to see what is what :)

Yeah. :) But wouldn't it be nice if iOS didn't need to be jailbroken :D

Unless if it will come with Cydia pre-installed, it would still need to be jailbroken, as even if Apple somehow made iOS7 an Open-iOS, the maximum things that they might allow is making theming modifications (because that's how Apple is twisted and insecured) so in that case what about all the Cydia tweaks?

Kinda contradictory that they don't allow third party apps like f.lux on iOS, but f.lux is readily available on OS X. o_O
