I'm going to be receiving my iTouch on Friday most likely and I want to jailbreak should I be worried about anything happening to it? Also will I be able to get the instruments for it even though it's 2.0?

If anything happens while you are jailbroken, you can always restore and your iPod will be good as new.

By "instruments" do you mean the application Band?

if you have nothing to say, don't say it

anyway, i'm not sure what you mean by "instruments"
    but jailbreaking is perfectly safe

Why can't you just answer the question? Can't you see that he is somewhat new to the community and doesn't even have an iPod touch yet?

EDIT: Seems as though others beat me to the punch.

Don't encourage him. He's just going on about how you can't say "iTouch".

Look, I don't care if that's not the proper name, give the guy a break.

LOL... I'm not going to bother with this, but if you're going to get an iPod Touch, I recommend waiting until the new device is released. If you buy it now, Apple will just release a new one after a couple of weeks.
