New iPod touch firmwire?

    Is there a new firmwire for the iPod touch 2g? Also, is there jailbroken version and does this include multi tasking? Thanks

    redsn0w 0.9.5-b2
    2g 4.0 doesnt have multitasking, but redsn0w will enable it.

    Yeah there is, 4.0 has been released, you can update for free and jailbreak straight away if the model number of your iPod begins with MB (check it in settings). If it starts with MC, you'll have to wait a bit for a jailbreak to be released.

    There is an option when you jailbreak to enable wallpapers and multitasking on the device

    4.0 can be jailbroken on an ipt2. And the jailbreak activates multitasking and wallpapers i believe.

    yeah redsn0w beta lets you choose to enable multi-tasking/background wallpaper and battery percentages with the click of a checkbox.

    Oh ok cool so use redsn0w to jail break but where exactly do u download the firmwire 4.0?

    Plug your iPod in and press update in iTunes. Its free for all devices

    If you do that wouldn't all ur jailbroken stuff go away so I guess just download everything again?
