    Hello
I just purchased an Ipod Touch 3rd gen.
I have a very simple question.....How do I get this thing to play the next song automatically in my playlist????
I cannot figure out how to turn off the repeat song function.
I bought the ipod to eliminate taking my nav disc out of vehicles stereo to play a cd.
I had Best Buy install a "gateway connection kit" and I have to turn the tune knob after every song or repeats..
Even out of the car and using the earbuds it repeats the same song over and over again.
So how do I turn the repeat function....I cannot find it??????
    Thank you

    1. theres a shuffle sign at the almost top left corner, click once it turns blue, click twice it gets a 1 with a circle, click again it greys out. Click it once and it will go to the next song once its done with the first.

    2. Press the shuffle until it is greyed out

    3. i dont understnad the rest

That didn't work. The only place I have to "shuffle" is on top of a playlist.
When I hit that buton it jumps to a different song and then that one repeats over and over.
Ipod online manual has an image of screen where a song is playing and there are 3 icons ......shuffle.... real genious.....repeat.
I do not have those icons.

That last line of my 1st post

I forgot to type the word off.....
    Thanks

I think I figured it out and finally found correct shuffle button.
    Thank you for the help.
