well I tested out the new winpwn and built a firmware for a friend and tested it out on my iPod and well look at this weird behaviour, I have since restored to a previously built firmware.

I'm not sure what happend but it recognised it as a proper ipod but the error still stayed on screen but I couldn't for life of me get it to work.

I cant remember the exact package details something like

    bsd
    installer
    openssh
    ipod apps enabler
    auto correct fix
    suid lib fix
    nes emulator + roms
    dominos
    icopter
    isolitaire

    and a few other games

new problem I find with the new winpwn is when its finished and it has a ok button on the touch screen the screen tends to freeze (pretty much like my screenies above but it says something about script wommand complete with what looks like 2 box outlines behind the main message box.)

funny thing when the screen freezes iTunes still recognise it as an iPod Touch and I can sync to my hearts content just the screen freezes up and I have to force a reboot

and as I stated in my original post I am using the NEW version its nothing to do with not listening to people its people never read my post properly

ah right maybe the new version has a new way of pwnering the device compared to the last beta. I will try that tonight for testing purpose to see if thats why this and the successful restore screens where frozen
