    I gave up

I gave up trying to fix this iPod.
    I can't install anything.
    I can't uninstall anything.
    I can't update any f*ing thing.

When I refresh my sources, I've got messages of updates available.
but the thing is that I can't install them.
I cannot even update my Installer app.

Probably I'll have to restore it.

    Look at the snapshots.
If someone has any idea of how to fix it, please... help me!
    Thanks.

You have to much disk space.

    Restore everything.

Install BossTool, and hopefully you know the rest.

I would tell you step by step if my iPod wasn't at school.

    Yeahh...
The thing that really bothers me is having to restore and install everything back again.
    That really sucks, man!
I already SSH it and delete loads of apps and other stuffs... Doesn't seem to solve anything whatsoever.
But I don't see any other way to fix it. I'd do it in the weekend.

PS: I already know my wife is gonna go psycho again. Eveytime I spent more than half an hour playing with my iPod she's like... "what's so cool with this weird flat thing???"

    lol

Edit: Sorry didn't get to the post above, my bad.
I can't understand why SSHing and deleting the folders didn't work, it works on my pod.

    Disregaurd the followng then:
You don't need to restore I don't think. Can you UN-install anything? If you can, then uninstall a few BIG programs then install Bosstools. You can "move" the apps to another partition and make the space you need to install and update other stuff.

If you CAN'T uninstall anything, can you SSH into your pod? If you can do THAT you can make space by "deleting" a few app folders. Whereby giving you the space to install Bosstools, as above

I hope this helps in some way, it's what I'd do

Well... the problem is not that I can't SSH into my iPod. I can.
I didn't have space on the 300 MB partition so I SSH into my iPod to remove big apps ans so I could have those 3MB of free space. So far, so good.
But, weirdly, I still cannot install anything and I can't UNINSTALL either. I can't even Update any app that has updates available.

I tried re-install the Installer throughout the own Installer and no success.
Thing I can say is: it's really f***ed up.

I have space enough (3 MB)
I'm running Installer 3.0, trying to update, I receive the message: "Not enough free space 512 KB bla bla bla"... and sometimes I receive something like... "Package failed bla bla bla..."

Restoring is really a pain in the arse cuz... I have to make a back-up of my NOTES, my CONTACTS, my CALENDAR and see which SOURCES I have added, which APPS I have installed.... aaaaaaaarghhh just thikin' about it already gives me the creeps man....

But anyway... I really do appreciate your help !!!
