So i got a new ipod touch today and am going to JB it with Ziphone. In some of the video's i watched on how to do it they restore it first. Do i need to do this considering its brand new out of the plastic. If not do i just open ITunes and start ziphone? Thanks for the help.

you do NOT have to they do that because they have jailbroken before because if you jailbreak and shift click the check for update and not a shift click restore installer will say the apps installed last time are still installed but you have never jb before so dont worry

Well I like ZiPhone a lot, but for 1.1.4, ZiPhone will be fine but in the future (2.0) I would use Pwnage/WinPwn

I looked at your sig. How do you create links like that? Like just the name to click on. That would come handy for me in my Posts. Please feel free to PM me or post the answer. Thanks!

Oh and by the way, Apple restored it
