Basically this crude looking device will jailbreak your iDevice and reboot tethered devices away from a computer. Only 12 prototypes have been built thus far and for sale (but after all the attention this has gotten I'm sure they're already sold.) However, the developer is taking donations and is nearly at his goal for a start up amount to start producing these more rapidly and for cheaper and if you donate now, he will deduct whatever amount you donated from the final price if you choose to actually order one when they start shipping.

Pretty Nifty stuff if you ask me for you iPod Touch 3G and select iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G users imagine not worrying about your battery dieing away from your PC and not being able to use your iPod until you got back to it! It will also Hacktivate your device if not already done.

If a mod wouldn't mind, could you please edit the second "b" in 'Rebboting' in my thread title and change it to an "o". It's supposed to say Rebooting. Didn't notice I messed up 'til after I posted.

    Thanks.

That's just a prototype. I'm sure the final versions will be in at least some sort of plastic casing.

Just like those other dongles for the 2G when it was tethered.
