The iPhone-Dev team have released an update to redsn0w bringing compatibility for iOS 6, including Cydia. It is still a tethered jailbreak, so only iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4g users can jailbreak their iOS 6 iDevice.

Plus it has new downgradable features for A5 devices with 5.x and 4.x blobs. How is this not FPed yet? lol

Do most people wait for the untethered version? Im not sure if I should update to 6 and try this out.

For the most part, people hate a tethered jailbreak. I've never tried one, but with that in mind, I'd stay on the jailbroken firmware you're on. You might be different than most people, though!

A lot do, a lot don't. It's personally preference really. I personally couldn't wait, and although iOS 6 update is very minor compared to iOS 5 in reality I still felt like upgrading and went with the tethered jailbreak. In reality the need to reboot is almost non existence for me, and most people in truth, just the thought it possibly needing to reboot when away from your PC is what puts a lot of people off I guess.

Although there are still a fair few tweaks that need updating which I would like to download still (infinidock, perpagehtml) to name a few but I'm happy enough :)
