I used the new official JB out of installer and it works fine
i have used this method and it's stuck on "attempting to reboot". it's been like that for more than 30 minutes. any suggestions??
anyone else have keyboard trouble? i did this jailbreak and whenever i type something my ipod locks up and i have to hold home and power to shut it off. and i get alot of random crashes.
i had the same problem as you and i fixed by editing the systemversion.plist by going through ssh in /system/library/coreservices/systemversion.plist just download and open it with the notepad and change where it says 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 then upload the file where it belongs and you'll have a nice 1.1.3 ipod ^.^
same here, im starting to think this a f***in joke. ive done this method many times and its the same sh**. freezings and all this
i hear ya. hey i tried ijailbreak mobile and its working flawless with summerboard and everything.
Did you do anything diferent???
I used this jailbreak thinking it was the one to use. Got constant Installer crashes just like with the older jailbreaks. iJailbreak from 1.1.1 (pretty much Nate True) was better. I thought springboard was patched to stop this so there was no need to edit permissions?
..trying iJailbreak 1.1.2 > 1.1.3, see how that goes.
To everybody complaining. Remember, you are installing 1.1.3 software on 1.1.2 firmware. It's not going to be stable, no matter which Soft Upgrade you use.
As far as permissions go, you're going to have that from this point onward. You are now using a multi user OS. It's actually a VERY good thing that you are just going have to get used to.
I am sure that has been said before but that fact about 1.1.3 on 1.1.2 firmware explains alot. I am guessing after SDK we will not being doing that... wouldn't you think?
