i had the same problem as you and i fixed by editing the systemversion.plist by going through ssh in /system/library/coreservices/systemversion.plist just download and open it with the notepad and change where it says 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 then upload the file where it belongs and you'll have a nice 1.1.3 ipod ^.^

I used this jailbreak thinking it was the one to use. Got constant Installer crashes just like with the older jailbreaks. iJailbreak from 1.1.1 (pretty much Nate True) was better. I thought springboard was patched to stop this so there was no need to edit permissions?

..trying iJailbreak 1.1.2 > 1.1.3, see how that goes.

To everybody complaining. Remember, you are installing 1.1.3 software on 1.1.2 firmware. It's not going to be stable, no matter which Soft Upgrade you use.

As far as permissions go, you're going to have that from this point onward. You are now using a multi user OS. It's actually a VERY good thing that you are just going have to get used to.

I am sure that has been said before but that fact about 1.1.3 on 1.1.2 firmware explains alot. I am guessing after SDK we will not being doing that... wouldn't you think?
