Well, i just got my cx500s today and i heard some stuff about breaking in headphones. I wondering if I should do it, what I should use to do it, and for how long. I link to guide or something would be nice.

This is what I tend to do when burning in.
Use either pink noise or music. (Or a 3/4 pink noise, 1/4 music combo)
Play for about 100 hours of it (continuously)
Volume set to a bit over normal listening volume.

For me, it did quite a bit in taming the bass.

OK thanks. The bass is quite overwhelming when I'm listening to my indie stuff.
