new at this

    so i want to start making my own themes for myself and possible post them into a repo on cydia

    im pretty good with photoshop, i just need someone who is skilled at this to give me the basic steps in creating a complete theme, or even just a custom keyboard

    so would someone be so kind to possibly pm me a tut on how to do this, it doesnt need to be so detailed but just the basic princeples

    id like it if someone posted instructions here, or pm it to me to please, as i dont know how(yes yes i know) and would like to start.

    Well making themes is not for new people. You have to know what you are doing. If you want to figure it out. Just get a theme with a complete skin. Then figure out what .png's go to what. That is what I did.

    basically just replacing the standard .png's i through ssh, (but making backups) and making it all fo razzled

    Well if you want to do it right without messing up your filesystem. Download Winterboard from Cydia. That allows you to customize your images without messing it up.
    You would have to start by making a new theme. Usually a new theme that is complete are setup like this
    Theme Name.theme
    ->Folders (Apps Go In Here)
    ->Icons (Self-Explanatory)
    ->UIImages (This contains most of the images that your iPod Touch uses)

    This is a basic setup. Make sure you get Winterboard.
