    Is it me or is that dock connector huuuuuge. The one shiped with the latest products is really small. That looks way long, one thought that comes to mind is it may allow you to connect a cable to use for thunderbolt. But they would not make it that big, why go small then huge. May be a very old cable.

    EDIT: Kinda looks like a MacBook charger. Could it be that you can hook it up to a Mac charger and charge it? Also did you buy this direct from Apple?
