does any one know when 1.1.3 is coming out plz
Late Jan, or Feb.
There's speculation that the iPhone version at least will be released during macworld.
Yes ... I've seen suspected rumor that it will be released just after SJ "demos" it during the keynote at MacWorld.
BTW ... that would be next Monday, January 14th!
it will come out when you go to sync your ipod and a box appears saying
new software update available (1.1.3) qould you like to update?
Although the 1.1.3 update looks real, there really is no guarantee that it really is nothing more than an Apple plant to gin up more interest in future products. I hope it is real, but I'd wait until after MacWorld Expo to see if Steve mentions anything.
It's real. Geekbrief.tv had a short video of the host interviewing someone in what looks like an airport lounge. He shows her how the icons wiggle and you can move them around the screen. He then goes into his general settings to show her the version number. Of course the screen doesn't show up in the crappy light of the location, so you can still wonder if it's real if you want to. I suspect they are still tweaking it before the final release. Those that have it are beta testers.
MacWorld would be a great place to announce both the 1.1.3 update and the SDK, as well as several great applications Apple has already developed for the Touch.
most probably in the 3rd week of Jan
