This may have already been reported, but the new iTunes version that comes with 1.1.3 allows you to redeem and use ITMS gift cards/codes. In previous versions when a purchase was made on the ipod, your credit card would be charged because it had no way to deduct from the store credit balance on your account.

no, it would deduct from the gift card. (the credit card registered w/ itunes is expired.) I just use prepaid cards.
the feature is the ability to add them to your account.

    Well actually...

You were able to use gift cards in the iTunes WiFi store in previous versions, but you had to redeem them on the computer first. Now you can actually redeem a gift card ON the iPod Touch/iPhone, which in my opinion is really cool and was a much needed feature. Nice job pointing this out though i'm sure that most people don't know about it. Also, it now shoes the current balance of your iTunes store account by displaying how much money you have left.
