netbooks...are they any good? because im in need of a new computer and these are alot cheaper than a laptop.

i'll mainly use it for itunes (syncing, buying music ect.), putting themes on my ipod, web browsing, and some social networking stuff. i've heard they don't have as much ram as a laptop would have, and i usually have itunes, msn, and a couple tabs open at once...could it handle this?

They normally have much less power than a typical laptop. Most don't even have CD trays! What they're designed for is internet browsing, and light processes such as what you're looking for.

I would expect that it can handle what you're wanting to do (msn, iTunes, a few internet tabs), but I wouldn't try and use anything that requires a lot of power at the same time.
