do you have the sensor pad enabled?
Do you see green lines marking the bottom left corner where the pad should be?

Run your finger around it, do you see the arrow direction showing up just to the right?

I actually prefer to use the sensor pad. I find it much more responsive.

i had the NES emulator on my touch for about 10min untill i realized the games look terrible , even pretty bad for emulator standards , and the controlls are horrible , i played about 4 seconds of spy hunter till i got mad and turned it off , what we need is a Nintendo DS emulator to make good use of the touchscreen

GrimGreen, try nesapp again using the Sensor Pad. I felt the same way as you about the controls, but Sensor Pad really helps a lot.

You can always go into preferences and enable the standard controllers.

    wow!
It works fine...even A and B buttons are inverted...and in landscape mode aren't round buttons but half-moon ones

nes.app is sitll not 100%, it's still a work-in-progress things. It still skips in a lot of games.

Also, it's hard to play this emulator no matter what mode you're playing unless if it's rpg...even then, menu navigation is a bit tidious.
