NES app problem

    I downloaded the games i wanted, renamed them to end with .nes, changed the permissions but when i start it in my ipod touch it says unable to load rom image and some other stuff can somebody please help me

    is the .nes right after the file name? EX: Super Mario.nes . Or you might have downloaded a bad rom.

    yeah it says .nes after it ex "Metroid.nes" it just wont let me play it. i got the rom from theoldcomputer.com

    Were they zipped? And if so, did you unzip?

    for windows If you are using winrar

    right click
    extract to...
    that's it

    You shouldnt have to rename them to end with .nes.

    I agree with Blake. They're already named with the appropriate file extension.

    I get all my roms from CoolRoms, just do a google search for it. I find it to be much more useful than main of the other rom sites out there.

    Oh, and avoid AngelRoms I've had problems with them.

    u probably downloaded a compressed file and changed the .zip/.rar with .nes , ur not supposed to do that , u have to decompress it with winzip or winrar and then put it on ur Touch

    Add this site to your 'sources' in your installer app:

    markmon.mine.nu:90/iphone/repo/repo.plist

    It will allow you to download a package called 'BigBoss NES rom collection Part 1' or something from your installer app (it's a package).

    Just download it, and it does the rest.

    How easy was that?
