Can't jailbreak the 2g yet....What is wrong with your 1st one? jailbreaking should not damage your device.

edit: in fact it's nearly impossible to brick or ruin your device by jailbreaking.

You might just have to restore it, try clicking restore!!

because as Redrums says, it's nearly impossible to ruin the ipod

    x infinity.

    Jesus.

It's not even a "might." Your iPod is in RECOVERY MODE. Even in the warning it says to restore it to allow it to be used again.

CLICK THE BUTTON THAT SAYS "RESTORE." That's all you have to do. Your iPod isn't even broken.

What does the error say when you try to restore? What program did you use to attempt a jailbreak?

    *facepalm*

Did you know it's impossible to brick an iPod without physical abuse?

I'll buy that "brick" for $75
