Ok so I'm doing a multimedia project for school. I made a matrix graphic and pasted it into a circle. But I cant seem to feather the circle to make it blend into the background better. Below is an attached copy of the graphic. You can pm me for the .psd of it. I tried selecting the circle i pasted the graphic into and feathering that but there is no noticeable effect.

    Thanks in advance,

Use the radial selection to then click refine edge, change it to what you like, and no, I'm not gonna do it for you.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'm trying the refine edge and it previews the image the way I want it but when I click OK the feathering disappears but there is a small circle selected. Do you know what I'm doing wrong here?

From there you're gonna want to right-click the selected area, click layer via cut, then hide the layer underneath the one you just made.

He asked how to feather it, not how to make it look as ugly as possible.

It's not really that hard. Just feather it, and follow the simple instructions that 48days gave. I tried making something similar to you and used his method. It worked fine so I think you can do it.
